Good afternoon!

Great news!  Thanks to a couple of willing parents, there will be taco lunch served tomorrow!

PARENT NIGHT IS NOW FAMILY NIGHT! – Parents and students are invited to join us for a bonfire, open house and finger food pot luck, next Tuesday, September 17th from 6:00-7:30 pm!  Please bring a finger food item to share.  Set up and clean up assistance is needed.  Please let us know if you can help with either!

Volunteers are vital to GES!  We currently have two volunteer opportunities available:

o Milk delivery – Pick up 4-5 crates of milk at Johnsons (it will be loaded into your vehicle) and deliver it to GES either Friday afternoon or Monday morning before 10:00 am.

o Recycling – Recycling is important at GES!  As part of their environmental education, the Lynx classroom gathers and weighs all the recycling GES produces!  Share this role with another parent volunteer to bring items collected by students to the recycling center.  This is a flexible position that can work with your schedule.  Call the office if you are interested in either of these opportunities!

See school email for the September school calendar, youth vaping information event, playhouse auditions, and youth classes at the art colony.

It’s been a great first week of school!  Please let me know if you have any questions as we move forward through the school year.
