Annual Election of Board members: May 15th, 2025

ARTICLE III MEETING OF MEMBERS
Section 1 –Meetings: An Annual Meeting of the members shall take place in the month of September on a day when school is in session, the specific date, time, and location to be designated by the Board Chair. At the Annual Meeting, the members shall elect directors and officers, and receive reports on the activities of GES.
Section 2 – Notice Thirty (30) days printed and electronic public notice of the Annual Meeting shall be given.
Section 3 – Quorum: The members present at any properly announced meeting shall constitute a quorum.
Section 4 – Board election: The Board Development Committee shall be responsible for nominating a slate of prospective Board directors representing GES’s diverse constituency. In addition, any
member may nominate candidates to the slate of nominees during the Annual Meeting.
Section 5 – Voting: Election of directors and officers shall be decided by simple majority of those members present and voting at the Annual Meeting.
