This week’s news:
· NATIONAL WALK TO SCHOOL DAY - TOMORROW!: Buses will drop participating students at the alternate school where staff from their home school will chaperone as they “walk to school”. Students will need the signed permission ticket to participate in this event. Students who do not ride a bus can take part by joining their classmates at the alternate school to walk to their home school.
· SCHOOL PICTURE DAY IS MONDAY, OCTOBER 14! – Order forms will sent home next week, or choose to order online using the flyer that went home last week.
· NO SCHOOL THE FOLLOWING DATES:
o FRIDAY, 10/11
o THURSDAY, 10/17 & FRIDAY, 10/18
o FRIDAY, 11/1
· ARE YOU INTERESTED IN THE FUTURE OF HOT LUNCH AT GES? The Great Expectations Foundation is looking for parents to serve on the Great Lunch Committee. (This is different than preparing lunch). Contact Beth Kennedy for more information, 218-387-1314.
