Annual Meeting

7:00 p.m. Call to Order

Following introductions, Amy Brown board secretary and k-2 teacher read the school’s mission statement.

Nina Simonowicz, GES treasurer, presented the audited financial report for the fiscal year July 1, 2003 through June 30, 2004.  Total expenditures were $428,583.  She also noted that net assets for the school at year-end were $112,396.

Suzy Schweig, vice chair of the board and 3-5 teacher presented the nominating committee report.  The nominees for re-election are Amy Brown and Nina Simonowicz for three year terms and a new nominee Tom Resek, whose election to a three year term would result in an increase in board size to 10. Following a call for additional nominations, Gina Todd Kershner moved to elect the slate of nominees.  Mary Junnila seconded the motion.  Ayes all.

Members at the meeting thanked Nina, Barb and all the others who have done so much on a volunteer basis to help the school during the past year.

Alan Stone moved and Doug Nordahl seconded a motion to adjourn at 8:20 p.m.
